November 3, 2021 – Aransas County ISD announced the hiring of Brian Tullis as the District’s new Chief of Police. Mr. Tullis brings 32 years of law enforcement experience including investigating organized crime, gang violence, breaches, illegal weapons, school Chief of Police and more.
Mr. Tullis received his Associates of Science in Criminal Justice from Del Mar College in 2000, his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Texas A&M Corpus Christi in 2007 and his Master of Science in Criminology from Texas A&M Commerce in 2016. He also has a Masters Peace Officer Certification, Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Education Instructor’s Certification, Facility Security Officer Certification, School Based Active Shooter Training and School Based Law Enforcement Training.
An avid volunteer, Mr. Tullis local organizations include Rockport-Fulton Youth Football and Basketball programs, Knights of Columbus, Aransas County Historical Commission Board Member, and Rockport-Fulton Chamber of Commerce-Steering Committee Member to name a few.
